We can deliver presentations on critical aspects of risk and audit including, but not limited to, the Global Internal Audit Standards, Topical Requirements, risk assessments, control environment evaluations, audit execution leading practices, communications with the board, and audit and risk guidance in specialized or emerging areas of focus.

Internal Audit Assistance

We can help your organization establish an internal audit function, participate in audit projects or advisory work requiring specialized knowledge or expertise, or assist in the timely completion of audit work through an outsourced internal audit model.

We can conduct targeted reviews of your organization's areas of concern against Global Internal Audit Standards and Topical Requirements. This could entail a detailed assessment of planning performed, projects conducted, reports issued, and communications executed.

External Quality Assessments

We can perform internal audit EQAs as required every five years by Global Internal Audit Standard 8.4 External Quality Assessment. In addition, we can provide preparatory guidance and evaluations for upcoming EQAs. If the organization decides to conduct a self-assessment, which is acceptable under the Standard, we can provide the required independent validation.

We can review or develop a professional practices methodology that complies with the IIA's International Professional Practices Framework and ensures ongoing sound performance and review. This could also include recommending and establishing attributes for measuring internal audit performance, tailored to your organization.
